Give planners a system that reacts before the plan breaks.
Orders, stock and supplier commitments land in one working set. Our agents show what changed since the last cycle, flag shortages and excess while there is time to act, and prepare each decision with its calculation for the planner.
The problem
What slows planning teams down.
A plan only moves as fast as the information behind it. When demand, stock and supplier commitments sit in different places, planners lose hours reconciling what changed, which dates still hold and what action the numbers support.
The signals never sit in one place.
Orders sit in the ERP, stock in a spreadsheet and supplier dates in email. Joining them by hand takes most of the planning time, and the plan is out of date before it is executed.
A low-stock report does not say when stock runs out.
It also leaves out whether the supplier can refill the stock in time and who should contact them, so each warning starts another round of questions.
Every replan starts from scratch.
The ERP records the decision but not the reason behind it. When the plan is reopened, the same analysis and the same arguments begin again.
Agents
Agents for planning teams.
Each SymAgents™ agent starts from a trigger, works in the systems your team already uses and stops at the gate where a person decides.
Inventory Decision Support Agent
Reviews inventory, demand and supply, identifies likely shortages and excess, and compares actions such as reallocating stock or adjusting replenishment.
- Planner decides
- Choose the inventory action
- Outcome
- Approved action plan ready to share
Stockout Prevention Agent
Identifies items at risk, ranks them by the latest safe date to act and prepares the next step for approval.
- Planner approves
- Approve the replenishment or escalation
- Outcome
- Approved request ready for execution
Demand Plan Refresh Agent
Shows what changed in orders and actuals since the last cycle and prepares proposed updates to the demand plan.
- Planner approves
- Approve the proposed plan changes
- Outcome
- Demand plan refreshed
Decision Briefing Agent
Assembles the numbers, conflicting inputs, assumptions and options needed to resolve critical planning issues.
- Plan owner decides
- Confirm the decision and follow-ups
- Outcome
- Decision and actions recorded
The agents
Read, check and draft
- Join orders, stock and supplier dates in one working set
- Show days of cover and the latest safe date to order
- Prepare each decision with its assumptions written out
Your team
Keeps every decision that involves you
- The demand plan and the final consensus number
- Every order, purchase and message to a vendor
- Service levels, safety stock and the trade-offs between them
In practice
Two workflows, start to finish.
Each run shows its sources, its plan and the person who approved it, so the team can check the work before anything changes.
01Inventory Decision Support Agent
Compare inventory actions on the same assumptions.
The agent reads the inventory, the demand plan and the supplier lead times, then lists the items that will fall short and the items that sit idle. It compares two decisions on the same assumptions and writes those assumptions out, so the planner can explain the choice as well as make it.
- Shortages and excess with the calculation shown
- Two decisions compared on the same assumptions
- An action table the planner can export and share
02Stockout Prevention Agent
Every warning says when stock runs out.
Stock can look healthy until the vendor lead time is counted. The agent works out usable stock, days of cover and the latest safe date to order, and ranks the items by that date. Where a lead time or a count is missing, it says so and asks instead of guessing.
- Confirmed and unconfirmed supply kept apart
- Missing data labelled instead of estimated
- An escalation or vendor request waiting for approval
The platform
The products behind these agents.
Every solution runs on the same platform, so each new workflow builds on the connections, context and controls already in place.
- SymAgentsThe library of ready agents these workflows come from
- SymConductorRuns each workflow from its trigger to the closed record
- SymContextLinks records, documents and decisions in the Operations Graph
- SymConnectReads and writes the systems your team already uses
- SymTrustPermissions, approvals and guardrails on every action
- SymPulseTraces every step of every run, so it can be replayed
FAQ
Questions planning teams ask.
The answers cover what the agents do, the systems they work with and where a person decides.
No. Your planning system keeps the baseline and your planners keep the consensus. The agents gather the inputs, show what changed and why, and prepare each decision with the calculation behind it. The final plan is always a person’s decision.
With fixed rules that are shown in full. Usable stock divided by average daily use gives the days of cover. The latest safe date to order is the run-out date minus the vendor lead time, the internal processing time and a safety buffer. Confirmed and unconfirmed supply are shown separately.
The agent says so instead of estimating. An item without a lead time is marked "risk cannot be calculated", and the planner sees which figure is missing and who can supply it. Nothing is ranked on a number the agent had to guess.
Yes. The Inventory Decision Support Agent and the Stockout Prevention Agent both start from exported inventory, demand and lead-time files. A first run on a short list of items shows whether the warnings are useful, and a live connection through SymConnect follows once they are.
Start with one workflow that hurts today. We connect the sources it needs, configure the agent with your team and run it with evidence and drafts first.

Bring your worst planning week.
We will rebuild it from your files with you, with every shortage dated, every assumption listed and each decision left to your planners.
