SymModelsThe model layer

More than one model. One place to put them to work.

Work with models from multiple providers in the same SymAI Ask™ workspace. Choose an available option or easily change models, based on your task requirements.

Why it matters

A model name does not tell you whether it can handle the specific job.

Explaining a clause, extracting a field and drafting a response are different tasks, and each may suit a different model. The model is one part of the result: it also needs the right context, a clear instruction and a way to review the output. SymModels™ lets you change models without any lock-in.

Multiple providers

Explore available models without changing workspaces.

SymModels offers model choices from more than one provider, grouped into Fast, Balanced and Advanced bands. Choose an available model for the task and change it whenever you need to.

  • Review the models currently available in your workspace.
  • Select an individual option or start with a model band.
  • Inspect the model used alongside the returned answer.
  • Use another available model when you want to review a different response.

Domain fine-tuned models

General intelligence is the starting point, fine-tuning takes it to the next level.

Symplichain’s domain fine-tuned models focus on the forms of information supply chain teams work with: operational language, business documents and voice. Each one is built for a specific task, with deep supply chain context.

  • Operational language and reasoning

Questions about orders, commitments and exceptions need the business context behind the terms – not just a fluent response. Our SymDocs model interprets the required context accurately.

  • Document understanding

Delivery documents, invoices and supporting records need to be interpreted against the task. Our SymVision model sits here, with format coverage and extraction quality to be confirmed for each use case.

  • Voice-based work

Voice can matter where operational updates happen in conversation. Our SymSpeech model belongs to that use case, with supported languages, channels and deployment to be confirmed.

Context and selection

The right model, with the right context behind it.

SymContext™ is the context layer: the selected material and the relationships behind the work. SymRouter™ is the selection layer: how an available model is chosen for the task. SymModels™ is the set of model options those layers put to use.
